WHOP x IMAN GADZHI CASE STUDY

Objective

Help announce a major partnership between Iman Gadzhi and tech platform Whop — not with a bland corporate video, but with a story-driven, cinematic piece designed to build trust, stir emotion, and humanize a product that’s usually all backend and features.

Strategy

Instead of leading with a product demo, we took a documentary-style approach. We built a narrative that explored:

  • Why this partnership matters

  • How it unlocks new opportunities (esp. through Monetize Mania)

  • What it means for creators and users on the platform

The Twist

This wasn’t just a tech announcement — it was a mini-film. Real conversations, late-night NYC b-roll, subway rides, skyline shots, and emotional beats. We helped a fast-moving startup show its human side, without losing momentum or polish.

The Solution

We took this from start to finish: creative concept, pre-pro, full production, post, the whole thing.

Here’s how we brought it to life:

  • Narrative-first approach. We built the story around Iman’s perspective — less “announcement,” more “this is where I’ve been, and this is where we’re going.”

  • Real locations, real moments. From NYC hustle shots to late-night rooftop scenes and downtown convos, we captured the energy of the city and the grind it takes to build something real.

  • Custom scenes for every mood. We shot everything from emotional dialogue to b-roll hustle to a spoofed fake ad, making sure the final cut had range and rhythm.

  • No boring visuals. Cinematic framing, natural lighting, gritty textures — all designed to make it feel elevated but still authentic.

  • Behind-the-scenes + short form content. We knew this had legs beyond the main film, so we grabbed BTS and created mini clips ready to run on socials.
