The Challenge
Monster Energy Company (owners of Monster Energy & Bang Energy) was set to make a big splash in New York City with two high-profile activations at the 116th Street Festival (Monster Energy) & the Puerto Rican Day Parade (Bang). With an anticipated 500,000 attendees, these events were a major opportunity for the brand to expand its reach in a key market. Monster’s goal was twofold:
Capture the essence of the events to create an internal asset showcasing their success in engaging attendees and distributing their product.
Generate shareable content for social media to amplify their presence and emphasize their connection to the community.
The challenge was clear: produce high-quality, impactful content on a tight timeline while working in a fast-paced, live event environment.
The Solution
We approached Monster with a clear vision of how we could meet their needs:
Highlighting Audience Engagement: We proposed focusing on capturing authentic moments of interaction between attendees and the Monster brand.
Showcasing Event Energy: We outlined a strategy to visually convey the excitement and scale of the event, ensuring it reflected Monster’s dynamic brand identity.
Delivering Dual-Purpose Content: By offering both long-form internal assets and short-form social media clips, we demonstrated our understanding of their objectives.
Scope of Work:
On-Site Video Production
Dynamic Editing & Post-Production
Deliverables Optimized for Internal and External Use
